Collegiate Network Year-long Fellows

On behalf of the Collegiate Network, I'd like to offer my congratulations to the Rover's outgoing managing editors, each of whom will soon begin work as Collegiate Network Year-long Fellows.

Joe Lawler will spend the next year working at The American Spectator. Keep track of his work at www.spectator.org.

Ben O'Brien will serve on the editorial board of USA Today (http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/).

Alumni of the CN's fellowship program include: Jonathan Karl, National Security Correspondent, ABC News; Matthew Continetti, Associate Editor, Weekly Standard; Laura Vanderkam, a member of the board of contributors for USA Today and a contributing editor to Reader's Digest; Duncan Currie, managing editor, The American; and Naomi Schaefer Riley, deputy taste editor, Wall Street Journal.

In 2008, the CN will also send year-long fellows to The Weekly Standard, Roll Call, The Hill, and a couple to-be-announced venues; the CN will send paid summer interns to venues such as The Washington Times, National Review, Washington Examiner, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and more. Application deadline for next year's program will be in December 2008. For more information, contact Joe Lindsley at jlindsley[at]isi[dot]org or visit www.isi.org/cn.
